"Help Wanted" is the first episode of SpongeBob SquarePants and the franchise as a whole.

SpongeBob applies for a job at the Krusty Krab.

This is the debut appearance of SpongeBob, Mr. Krabs, Squidward, the Anchovy Incidentals, and the Krusty Krab.
Due to the use of Tiny Tim's cover Livin' in the Sunlight, Lovin' in the Moonlight, the episode wasn't released on the The Complete First Season DVD. It was eventually released on the The Complete Third Season DVD and future DVD releases.
