Writing

Language

Because SpongeBob SquarePants is an American television series, all text is required to be written in American English. An example of how text is required to be written is below.

• SpongeBob is yellow in color.
• SpongeBob is yellow in colour.

This rule does not apply to talk pages and user pages.

Date and time

The date and time can be written in all sorts of ways, but what SpongeBob SquarePedia strongly prefers is either 21:30, May 1, 1999 or May 1, 1999, 21:30. Like with the language rules, this does not apply to talk pages and user pages.

All wikitext is required to be written like this for pages:
